Hello, my name is Line Young Peteri. I'm a 40-year-old Dane adopted from South Korea and married in Vegas to a Finnish-born Swede. We live in Malta with our two wonderful kids, Lucas and Chloé.
This page will be about my life through better and worse, the projects I'm working on, being a housewife, self-employed and a mother, my big love for fashion and health, how I juggle all of it, what inspires me and what makes me happy.
This is a page about juggling work and family, fighting, believing, and finding the strength to move on even in the darkest days or periods of your life. And it's about never giving up.
Why do I do it? I hope to inspire other people to do what they like, and to let them know that everything is always possible with and open mind and a positive attitude.
A BIT ABOUT ME
LIVING WITH CANCER
In November 2013 after many years of sickness, I found out that I had RAI-resistant Thyroid cancer, and that changed my life in many ways. Not only did I finally find out why I have been so sick and unwell, but I decided to live my life much more healthy.
So I began running after a break of more than 22 years, and I loved it. But I found out after 3 half marathons and about 800 km, that I didn't have any ligament left in my ankles. Old injuries, I have just ignored. So running had to stop as well, and I've so far had 2 surgeries for that and 6 surgery for the cancer. Plus 2 times radiation therapy where I had to be in isolation from my kids 4 and 6 weeks.
