Last year at this time, I was in the end of the radiotherapy, and feeling sick, fragile and throwing up blood. This time I can pick outfits and go to fashion shows. However my normal life has to be kept as well. This week my 2 kids has parents day with dance, just before I have to go to the show, and even if I for a short moments thought about letting my husband go instead I decided to try to make it work. It means a lot to the kids I´m there. Yesterday it was our little girls ballet, and we took the opportunity to shoot some of the photos there and on our way home to Tigne form ballet:)
Outfit: Skirt from St. Martin / Shirt from Getuz / Black vintage corset belt / T-shirt from Balmain / Vintage Chanel belt / Chanel brooch and YSL earrings
I wore a pair of "Gaia" from roccamore, there luckily arrived on yesterday afternoon. A lot of people has ask me my connection to roccamore, I´m a shareholder, an it was one of the projects I worked with before I got diagnosed. The shoes has been tested to be 45% more comfy, than normal heels, due to a special insole, which supports the foot a bit better than normal heels.
Another day, another colour from MAC Cosmetics: Retro Matte Liquid - Fashion Legacy. I can see it´s a bit uneven put - I guess that´s the price being a busy working mum:)
I love vintage Chanel - This Tweed bag is one of my absolutely most beloved pieces. Made in a time, where the quality was impeccable in Tweed, leather trimmings and tassel. With 24 carat gold covering. Chanel stopped doing it due to price. Making the vintage pieces so much more unique.
I changed my outfit a bit before I left for Malta Fashion Week, here captured by Justin Ciappara. I decided for a headscarf from RWD a very interesting Danish designer.
I have about 15-20 min before each evening, to dress, style and get my make-up ready before leaving from Sliema to Valletta, so these has been my favourite products.
I use the "24 HR BODY" to get some volume in my hair there is very heavy, "HEAT PROTECT COLOUR MIST" to give my hair a fresh look - is very dry after radiotherapy and just a lot of bleaching and sun. But my ultimate friend is the Hairspray "FREEZE HOLD" - I have never tried a spray like that. It´s leave my hair exactly as I styled it. I have never tried that before. I have heavy Asian hair, which means, I normally have a small spray in my bag, however this is a lifesaver. I will test the treatment in the weekend when I get time:)
